INTENDED USE: A device designed to be fitted to the user’s mouth to interface with a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or bi-level positive airway pressure (BPAP) unit to provide the respiratory tract with direct ambient air, or medical oxygen (O2) and air, at a higher pressure than ambient air for non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV).

SPECIFICATION

• The headgear may have Velcro or clip closures for easy adjustment, allowing users to find the optimal fit for their comfort and stability. BIPAP masks have a built-in exhalation port or vent on elbow that allows the escape of exhaled air from the mask.
